Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Optional: sour cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each tortilla.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet, buttered side down.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cheese on the tortilla, then add the dill pickles and the remaining cheese.
  5. Top with the second tortilla, buttered side up.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden and the cheese has melted.
  7. Flip carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve with sour cream if desired.

Notes

Using butter on the outside ensures a golden finish and helps the cheese melt properly.
