  • 2 teaspoons baking powder For leavening.

  • 1 cup milk Full-fat preferred for creaminess.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Provides the garlicky flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream the butter and garlic together.
  • Add the milk to the butter mixture and blend well.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in the cheese and parsley.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

This bread works well with a variety of cheeses and can be customized to your taste. Don't overmix to keep it fluffy.
